Kidd Springs Central and Kidd Springs Recreation Center will host a new Family Fun Fall Fest Saturday November 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kidd Springs Park located at 711 West Canty St. 75208. This free outdoor event will host music from local Dallas artists including Rob Holbert, DJ Hi-C, Confetti Eddie Magician and Jazz Becuzz, food vendors, artisans, a bounce house, craft stations and games. The event is free but canned goods are welcome to help raise needed food for The Cliff Temple Food Bank. Sponsorship and vendors are still being accepted. Kidd Springs Central and Bishop Heights, A Psw Community invites you to a community potluck brunch at the KSC Water Station during this year’sDash For The Beads Saturday March 2nd starting at 8:30 a.m. at Cedar Hill and Bishop Heights Heights Lane (outside so dress appropriately).
Resident international musical sensations, Hedda Layne and Troy Lee Warden, will provide entertainment for attendees and race participants only at the KSC Water Station at Dash for the Beads. This is the tenth year KSC has hosted this refreshing hot spot for runners, walkers and furry friends. This is the second year, Hedda and Troy delighted all with their musical stylings.
Hedda Layne and longtime musical collaborator Troy Lee Warden have been entertaining audiences for years. Hedda has performed with several organizations including Austin Symphony Orchestra, the Human Rights Campaign, Aids Services of Austin and Dallas and at The Library at the Melrose Hotel. Troy Lee builds the musical soundscapes and Hedda elevates the music to ethereal heights that encompass styles ranging from jazz standards to modern neo-lounge. We're glad that a Halloween carnival is back at the Kidd Springs Recreation Center - October 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
You can get involved in one of several ways:
1. Register as a Kidd Springs Recreation member (adult, children and senior pricing available)
2. Become a sponsor of the carnival. Email juanita.sharpless@dallascityhall.com or call the number on the flyer.
3. Register to be a volunteer for the event email Juanita or call to sign up.
4. Drop off your candy donations anytime during KS Recreation Center hours.
5. Make plans to attend the carnival on Monday 10/29!

The Kidd Springs Neighborhood Association will have their monthly meeting on Monday July 16th from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at Hogg Elementary School 1144 N. Madison.
There are building renovations underway so look for signs that will be posted at the school about where to enter. (Most likely it will be the north door facing the gym and the portable restrooms.)

It's two events in one! The KSC Concert Festival starts at 5 p.m. with food trucks, vendors, children's activities to encourage a strong turn-out of support for the DallaSymphony who has selected Kidd Springs Park for a 10th year.
